Abstract:
The sliding mod control of high -conversion-ratio bidirectional DC-DC converter with coupled inductor for renewableenergy based grid application with improved efficiency is proposed in this paper. In the step-up mod of proposedconverter two capacitors are parallel charged and series discharged by the coupled inductor and, in the step-downmode two capacitors are series charged and parallel discharged. Then, a new design approach of sliding mode controlwith constant frequency for nonlinear system are derived and closed loop control system is proposed. Finally,simulation results are also provided to justify the feasibility of the controller using MATLAB /Simulink.
