Abstract:
Gas dehydration is a common process in gas purification plants. The presence of water accompanied by hydrocarbones in gas transmission pipelines can form gas hydrates which may block valves and pipelines or causes corrosion in gas pipelines in which the gas containes acid components. In addition, the presence of water accompanied by light olefins 'such as ethylene and propylene' in polymerization leads to process problems. For dehydration of these gases zeolite 3Ais used. In this research, the effective parameters on zeolite 3A matrix using a mixtures of zeolite 3Akaolin and attapulgite for water adsorption from natural gas have been studied and as a result the optimum zeolite matrix has been modeled
