Abstract:

Corrosion cast study is a procedure for studying the structure of the blood vessels ina particular tissue or organ. Using corrosion cast study, corrosion casts of bloodvessel, lymph vessel, bile ducts and other tubular system of different animal can bestudied. The most valid conclusion from corrosion cast study and electronic study(SEM) is 3D observe of vessel connection details, shape and dispersal of vessels intissue and organs that can not obtain easily in other method. In the present study, westudied gill blood vessel of Common carp using corrosion cast study. Five carpspecimens with 750 g average weight were obtained. Fish were anaesthetized usinga benzocain solution in ethanol, injected inter parietal with heparin and allowed torecover with fresh water. Forty minutes later, the fish were killed using an overdoseof the benzocain solution. Fluid artificial resin made on the basis ofmethylmetacrylate was injected through, bulbus arteriosus. The preparation of theexperiments was processed by submerging them for 12-24 hours in a bath with waterof room temperature until polymerisation and hardening of the methylmetacrylatewere finished. Then, they were submerged for 24-48 hours in a 25% solution of KOHto obtain a maceration of the organic tissues. In conclusion, various parts of heart andrelated vessels such as ventral aorta and gill blood vessels such as afferent filamentartery AFA, afferent branchial artery ABA, afferent branchial capilary ABC, weredetermined.
