Abstract:
The purpose of this study is the diagnosis of Kutum fish (Rutilus frisii kutum) bydetecting variations in serum proteins transferrin and esterase enzyme in Shiroud andTajan rivers during spring and fall. For this purpose, 60 specimens from both riversand 148 specimens from the sea, near the mouth of rivers were collected. Qualitativeand quantitative studies of transferrin in the spring specimens showed a significantdifference (P<0.05), whereas samples of fall revealed no significant differences. Theresults showed that the transferrin protein in kutum fish are seen as aa, ab and bb andestrase as aa and bb genotypes. Morphometric analyzes of specimens showed asignificant differences between the two populations of Shiroud and Tajan Rivers inthe spring, but not in autumn (P<0.05). In addition, polymorphic blood serum(transferrin) showe a significant different in studied groups reflecting differenttransferrin of blood serum and morphological between population in fall.
