Designing and Organizing the Karoun River Shoreline by Emphasizing on Sustainable Development Approach

With cities development, industrialization of societies and development of urbanization in today s world, lives of citizens has distanced from the nature more and more. Therefore, many of environmental qualitative actors that have a crucial role in improvement of quality of man s life and health of spirit and body, such as clean air, landscapes, environmental peace and etc. have been weakened. With increase of urbanization process, natural environments within and around cities change a lot and lose their natural essence. In other words, development process in many cases has had irreversible harm to environment. One of the forms of environment s development is sustainable development. In this type of development, in addition to fulfillment of man s needs and economic benefits obtained from capital inflows and also attracting local workforce, it has several benefits for users of the complex. In this regard, recognizing proper places for this matter, and following this, designing architectural and urban spaces for designing and sustainable development is very important. By using the AHP method in accordance with the opinion of experts who are familiar with the sustainable architectural issues and region, by using the research method of computer simulation and Export Choice software, it was evaluated and analyzed that based on results; one of the suggested options has been chosen for design and sustainable development. In order to improve the level of Ahvaz s green space, the wastelands of all around the city were reviewed. In this part, the share of the district 1 of the wastelands is specified, because since these lands do not have a particular application, if owned by the municipality, they could be converted to green spaces. By considering the distribution of wastelands, this action can lead to improvement of green space in Ahvaz city which will bring many positive impacts for citizen, the promotion of their lives quality and also improvement of city s image.
