Abstract:

In the recent decade, growing trend of information and communication technology is speeding up more and more and knowledge and information are being more produced and exchanged. Nowadays, many organizations and universities have used the knowledge management as a tool to achieve success.This research focuses on the factors affecting knowledge sharing in e-learning courses. Questionnaires have been distributed and collected from the Masters level students of e-learning courses in four universities of Iran including: University of Tehran, AmirKabir University, Shahid Beheshti University, and Farabi University.Factors of perception, trust, openness, collaboration, reward systems , communication channels, knowledge sharing self-efficacy , perceived relative advantages , competition, and face to face connection were investigated. The results support the effective role of the openness in communication, knowledge sharing self-efficacy, collaboration and IT based communication channels. The results of the researches have provided some suggestions on designing, developing, and managing the existing and created knowledge among the students which can lead to the enhancement of the efficacy of e-learning courses.
