Abstract:

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of management factors on livestock production in Chaldaran city. Various variables including: individual characteristics, livestock characteristics, environmental and geographical characteristics, economic characteristics, educational characteristics, policy and management characteristics have been studied. The method of this study is descriptive-survey and the statistical population of all farmers and ranchers in Chaldaran city with 60 people. The sampling method is random. A researcher -made questionnaire consisting of 44 items with a reliability coefficient of 0.792 calculated using Cronbach s alpha coefficient was used for data collection. Correlation coefficient statistical test was used to analyze the data. The results of research hypotheses in ideal and appropriate condition show that with increasing managerial factors the amount of livestock production increases. Investigation of the variables shows that the results of Spearman correlation coefficient for the variables of animal characteristics (r = .281), economic characteristics (r = .616) and managerial features (r = .059) were positive and the level of significance was positive. Their significance is lower than the research error, so the relationship is significant and increasing the variables leads to increased livestock production. Significant level of variables of individual characteristics, environmental characteristics and the geographical and policy attributes of the study are greater than the error of the research (.01) and will not have any impact on livestock production.
