Abstract:

The integration of technology in a foreign language to promote learning andachievement continues to gain attention. This study by specifically focusing onCALL, has tried to investigate the attitudes of teachers’ towards computerintegration in language teaching and learning. To this end, 30 TEFL Teachersfrom three major universities of Kerman, Iran, attended the study. They wereasked to fill out the attitudes towards CALL questionnaire. The results of thedescriptive statistics showed that the participants held a positive attitudetowards the application of CALL. Furthermore, it was demonstrated thatteachers with higher frequency of computer use had more positive viewstowards CALL. The results of this study can be helpful in deciding on inclusionof technology in the classroom by both teachers and administrators.
