Abstract:Feasibility of using different kinds of breakwaters in a country whichhaving3000kilometersusablecoast,hasthestrategic,environmentalandeconomicimportance.Fixedand floatingbreakwaters are used to reduce the energy of waves hitting the coastal area. However, thefloating breakwaters do not have many deficiencies belonging to fixed breakwaters, that is, thestructural floating breakwaters is more economical and environmentally efficient and should bepaid more attention.
