Abstract:

The purpose of the present study was to investigate the relationship between the level of employees and managers needs and the amount of their entrepreneurship in Islamic Azad University, Khoy Branch and to determine the significance and priority of these needs. 240 people from the employees of the mentioned university filled out the questionnaire and the data were analyzed using Multivariable Regression and Friedman Test. The results of the study indicate that there is a direct and positive relationship between all seven needs and the tendency of the employees for entrepreneurship and according to the findings of this study the need for power has had the highest effect on the employees’ tendency for the organizational entrepreneurship. The needs priority of a higher percentage of the employees included high-level needs such living needs, need for security, need for respect, and social needs; and the needs priority of a lower percentage of the employees included low-level needs such as the need for self-prosperity, need for success, and need for power.
