Quality Standards and Specification in Construction and Risk Management in Iran

This paper proceeds with the objections to the specification of controlling construction quality; Quality Standards and Risk Management in Iran. Related documents from governmental agencies and selected private companies in Iran had been collected for comparison. Comparison has been made on every item in standard specifications from 3 parties involved to identify the similarities and differences. Based on the existing problems in the current engineering quality management mode, combined with the actual situation in our country, this paper proposes the Engineering quality risk management model, and has a certain quality of the project risk management. Through the field application in a large project of new management model in the practical application good effect will be achieved.
