Abstract:

Creative tourism is a new generation in tourism that deals with cultural interactionsbetween tourists and the host society. Cultural assets are the most important properties ofthese cities. In addition to renewal and introduction of creative cities to other societieswith the help of cultural sources, they can better manage the cities by the use of enoughfacilities and infrastructure in order to encourage the presence of creative people toprovide employment and sustainable development.The purpose of this research is thecapability of creative tourism in the cities of Guilan province. The procedure isdescriptive-interpretive and fieldwork. Statistics society is 53 cities in Guilan province,and 3 cities (Rasht, BandareAnzali and Lahijan) which have the population of more than100,000 people, have been studied. The specified parameters are in 7 fields. (Film, music,literature, media arts, gastronomy, design, crafts and folk art). The data interpretation isdone through EP model. The assessment of creative tourism parameters in these 3 citiesshows that Rasht and Lahijan (in the realm of literature) and Anzali (in the realm of craftsand folk art) have the highest grade in creative tourism ability.
