Abstract:

Isoflavones which are plant compounds have various roles in plants such as creatingBacterial resistance. soybean is a member of Legum family which is considered as asignificant supply of Isoflavones compounds. In general, in soybean plant , Isoflavonesare produced by a bunch of genes called CHS . In this study ,for checking the expressionof these genes in salinity stress (NaCl) in soybean roots, 1,6 and 12- hour treatments areused. In the end , it was found that among CHS family members the only genes that showdifferential expression in terms of 0.01 statistical level include CHS, CHS1, CHS5_1,CHS5_2, CHS7. Also, with increasing salinity treatment duration, the number of geneswith differentiated expression increased. Subsequently, the metabolic activity of the CHSfamily genes was studied and it was discovered that increasing the duration of salinitystress increased the activity of genes in metabolic pathways, including the synthesis ofisoflavones.
