Abstract:
Over ۸۱ percent of total consumed energy of the world and over ۹۵ percent of that in Iran are provided by fossil fuels. Although fossil fuels have helped societies to have rapideconomic growth, the emission of pollutants from the consumption of these fuels has led to climate change. On theother hand, the resources of fossil fuels such as petrol, gas andcoal are gradually decreasing. Also, nuclear energy has some environmental problems while having some benefits to fossilenergies. This necessitates the research about alternative and renewable energies. In this paper we study about renewable energies and compareeconomically with fossil and nuclear energies. Also, with statistics, we try to show the importance of renewable energies inIran, and convince governmental and non-governmental organizations to speed up the replacement process of fossil energies to renewable energies” in the country. So far, Iran has not had a lot of studies on the economic aspects of new energies including various kinds of new energies that are most practical in Iran. That's why in this paper we have tried to achieve this goal
