Ferrite cobalt (CoFe2O4) Nano rods were prepared by in situ hydrothermal method. Then 0.05 ml of colloidal fluid of nanostructure was injected on interdigitated electrodes (IDE) on a printed circuit board (PCB) substrate. Structural and morphological analysis such as X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) showed the Nano rod structure of material. Sensor has the best response of 13.3% in low temperature of 90 °C for 100 ppm methanol vapors and is repeatable and has a chemical stability that makes it useful to be used in different fields such as industries and medicine to detect methanol vapors.
