Abstract:
In this paper, the place of a factory is located based on the needs of market-places. The location of the factory is calculated by contour lines method. In this model, the flows between factory and market places are very important. Thus, the flow of services centers and their axis (xi,yi) is considered in order to calculate the new place for factory optimally. Other factors and constrains considered in this model are inter-arrival time and time till first product of sources of servers, setup time and cycle time of servers (markets process), speed of transporters. All of these factors are different and they have influences on the results of the facility location problem. After calculating the location of the factory, the model is simulated using Enterprise Dynamic (ED) software. Then the results of this model are analyzed and compared with other scenarios. The number of input of sink 10 (factory) depends on facility location. After simulating the factory location problem, the layout of the factory is determined. Single Row Facility Layout (SRFL) is used to determine the layout of the factory. The flow matrix of machines, available area, and area of each machine or workstation is the factors that have effects on the results of facility layout
