Abstract:

Cadmium is one of the unnecessary and poisonous elements for the palnts, the densities of its toxic materials causes multiple negative reactions in plants and animals. The researches indicate that cadmium can effect as a teratogenic factor in growth and development of mammals, and has a various toxic effects. In this research the level of cadmium absorption in three decorative plants Rosmarinus Officinal, Euonymus Japonicus Microphyill , Hedera Canariensis is studied .Objectives: This research follows two goals. Firstly, which one of these decorative plants can have a more cadmium absorption? And secondly, does the amount of cadmium in which the samples were taken exceed the allowable level?Method : Two plants of Euonymus Japonicus Microphyilla , Hedera Canariensis in July, 2014 and Rosmarinus Officinalis in February, 2014 were taken from Lale Park area in Tehran city and sent to Isfahan Azad University Research Center, Khorasgan Branch. In this measurement Atomic absorption technique and ISIRI K968 standard method and ISIRI2876-1 for Rosmarinus Officinalis and ISIRI 9265 for other are used .Conclusion: The results indicated that the level of cadmium absorption in Euonymus Japonicus Microphyilla,Hedera Canariensis was nearly the same and too high, but Rosmarinus Officinalis absorption was higher comparing to two other plants, and it was more that allowable level. Having more research and study in this scope, we may be able to lower the of cadmium contamination of environment by planting and growing more Rosmarinus Officinalis in green places of the cities
