Abstract:

Background and Aim: One of the most important problems due to unwanted pregnancy and pre-natal care is weight gain and blood pressure, which can lead to gestational diabetes, premature birth and preeclampsia. However, using a patient s remote monitoring system in the form of a smartphone can control the factors mentioned. The purpose of the present study was to investigate smartphone-based surveillance for prenatal care. Methods: The present study is a systematic overview in which Internet sites Scopus, SID, Google Scholar, and ISC were searched. Preventive, Pregnancy, Smartphone, Pre-natal care, and their combination were used to search the English entry language and the keywords for the selection of articles were considered between 2013 and 2018. Of the 198 articles retrieved, 135 articles were included in the study, and then these articles were evaluated in terms of title, abstract, and full text based on entry criteria. After removing repetitive and unrelated cases, about 96 articles related to research were selected. Results: The results of the review showed that the use of a pregnancy platform, which includes remote monitoring and warning systems, leads to more patient coordination and engagement with the smartphone program to accurately measure weight and blood pressure. The purpose of these early warning systems is to complicate complications. The results also indicate that the patient s interaction with the proposed platform meets the patient s expectations for regular education in the period of pregnancy and prenatal care. Conclusion: Studies have shown that pre-natal care goes hand in hand with smartphone technology, with care being provided in the form of remote monitoring, as well as the creation of a digital health platform In the form of a smartphone, it is possible in the near future to collect the data needed during pregnancy, which significantly reduces the risk of pregnancy and preterm delivery.
