Abstract:

Todays, maintenance is one of the strategic goals of companies, which is used to get an acceptable level of equipment availability. In this paper, a model is proposed in the field of maintenance optimization with respect to environmental constraints. As the system is subject to random failures that have effects on environment, it is essential to consider these constraints. The numerical method presented in the original research needs in the average of 14 minutes to run. Due to the existence of a decision variable, implementing a meta-heuristic algorithm like genetic algorithm is time-consuming. Hence, we used the combination of Newton Raphson and bisection method to find the solution of the nonlinear function. As a result, the runtime of the model is reduced up to 3 minutes.
