Evaluation of effective factors and capacities in development of Maku Free Zone villages

Rural development as a process of social, economic, and cultural change in the rural environment involves increasing employment and increasing rural employment and income, providing a minimum level of nutrition, housing, education and health. Accordingly, the main purpose of this research is to investigate the limitations and capacity development of the villages of Maku Free Zone. The research method was survey and the method of data collection was library and field. The sample size was determined using Cochran method out of 251 people in 62 villages with at least 152 diplomas. The results indicate that there is a significant relationship between the factors and capacities affecting the development of Maku Free Zone villages. Therefore, the issue of education should be prioritized for the prosperity of the rural economy in order to identify effective opportunities and activities. Also, good political relations with Turkey make the two countries highly connected and the villagers exploit this issue.
