Abstract:
In this paper, we present the structural and gas sensing behavior of SnO٢ films prepared by low cost sol-gel spin coating process. FESEM images of as-deposited films with different length scales were taken to understand film morphology and SnO٢ grain size. It is shown that SnO٢ particles are in nano metric size and film has porous structure. In order to investigate gas sensing behavior ofSnO٢ films, ethanol was used as the test gas with different concentrations and at different operating temperature of gas sensor. The maximum value of response was in order of ٤ which occurs in ٣٥٠ and at the presence of ٣٥٠٠ppm ethanol.
