Niloofar Agharezaee - Reproductive Biotechnology Research Center, Avicenna Research Institute, ACECR, Tehran, Iran

Introduction: Precision medicine (PM) is a developing approach for disease treatment and prevention based on variability in genes, environment, and lifestyle for each person. This seemingly new science has progressed in several areas over the past few years. So bioethics researchers have contemplated the ethical, legal and social implications of this type of research. Therefore there will be a need to increase the focus of this work as PM transfers into clinical settings. The aim of this study was a review of the ethical aspects of male infertility. Methods: I reviewed 15 articles from 2015 to 2018 in this study. The articles were searched from NCBI, PubMed, and Google Scholar. Results: A PM approach to male infertility will be useful to prevent, diagnose, and treat for many conditions. PM potentials to improve the administration of male factor infertility, which accounts for 40% to 50% of cases of infertility between couples having trouble. The first step importance on this opportunity for clinical treatment to guide how the ethical challenges of PM are to be communicated. Thus, a review of recent enlargements in connection with the advantage especially on core ethics topics in clinical is a useful starting point. Conclusion: Ethical issues in PM differ from those in traditional clinical practice in central ways. Realizing the promise of PM will require, among other achievements, a solid ethical framework for clinical studies, especially for infertility. Since evidence is growing and varied, and in the context of male infertility, policymakers should consider how and when PM tests should be conducted. The steps required to do this are useful if they involve choices with ethical implications.
