Abstract:In this work, in-situ hydrogel polyurethane nanocomposites based on poly(ethylene glycol)/poly(ε-caprolactone) (PEG/PCL), chemically cross-linked by hydroxyl modified MWCNT and hydroxyl terminated PCL-grafted MWCNT, were synthesized. Structural analysis was performed; phase and morphological behavior were analyzed. The results showed that MWCNT acted as a phase controller of the two homopolymers. FESEM results proved the effect of PCL graft on increased phase separation with a complex morphology for PCL-g-MWCNT relative to bare MWCNT.
