Abstract:The aim is to investigate sedimentation on Dez regulating dam using SHARC. Results show trapping efficiency for sand and silt at %99.8 and %24.6. Results also show trapped silt at %39, average silt concentration leaving the intake at 92ppm and decreasing trend in downstream sand concentration. Total trapped sediments during 10 years were 1,391,427 tons and trapped and transported materials were amounted to 1,019,916 and 371,511 tons respectively.
