Abstract:

Failure mechanics is the mechanism involved in the release of cracks in materials. Through experimental and analytical sciences, solid mechanics is used to calculate the driving force of a crack and thus the rate of resistance of materials to failure. The use of approximate solutions with acceptable accuracy, which is achieved in a limited time, is a huge opening in solving these problems. There are various advantages and disadvantages to this method, one of the best being the finite element method. Hence, the numerical methods are used instead of the analytical methods to examine cracked structures. In research, the stress and the strain fields of 3-Dimentional are modeled for DLSP cracked using by Abaqus software. As a results, environmental stress contours, around the crack tip have negative values. While the Mises fan tension contours, have positive values everywhere.
