Abstract:

Increasing the use of electricity and need for more and safer power generation has motivated investigation into new control methods resulting in better performance. Better system performance means increase in power generation efficiency, also decrease in the maintenance costs. To design suitable controllers, adequate information about the system dynamics is required. In this paper, for the supercritical once-through boiler of Neka power plant, a multilayer neuro fuzzy model is used to design P2ID controllers. Based on boiler real performance, these controllers are designed to control superheaters and reheaters temperature. Simulation results show very good performance of these controllers in terms of ore accurate and less fluctuation in the temperature of corresponding subsystems.
