Abstract:
In this research the stability of a doubly curved shallowshells with thermoelastic coupling subjected to uniformlydistributed tangential follower forces, are investigated.Variational equation of doubly curved shallow shells areobtained by using energy method and Hamilton s principle.Based on the heat conduction equation containing thethermoelastic coupling term and equations of motion ofshallow shell, the thermoelastic coupling differentialequation of motion of the shallow shell under uniformlydistributed tangential follower force is established. Complexfrequencies of the thermoelastic coupling doubly curvedshallow shell with four edges simply supported are obtained.The stability and critical load of the shallow shell areanalyzed.
