Abstract:

Nowadays, diversity of ionic liquids (ILs) or organic molten salts (MSs) can be achieved viaanion exchange and is a subjective way for designing ILs and MSs with anions that cannot bedirectly prepared. Over the years, much attention has been paid to the study of exchanges inthe properties of ILs and MSs by the replacement of their counter ions, which is changingphysical and chemical properties such as viscosity, melting point, vapor pressure of fluids andfluorescence properties [1-2]. Ionic Liquids and molten salts as efficient solvents, catalystsand reagents have been applied for nitration reaction, regioselective sulfonation, preparationof high-energy compounds and organic synthesis under milder conditions [3-4]. Herein, weapplied an anion exchange method for the synthesis of nano molten salts [PySO3H]X as magnetic(with magnetic counter ion) and non-magnetic catalysts. These nano molten salts[PySO3H]X utilized as efficient and reusable catalysts for the synthesis of a wide range of Oheterocycliccompound (Fig. 1).
