Abstract:
In this study, at first, yttrium iron garnet nano powders of bismuth substituted with structural formula BiY2Fe5-xAlxO12 (X=0,0.3) by Mechanochemical method prepared and then subjected to heating process. Discovering the structure of samples considered using x-Ray Diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). According to the Debye-Scherrer relation and SEM the average block size samples are in the range of 30 to 45nm. Saturation magnetization of samples measured at room temperature using vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). These measurements show that the saturation magnetization of substituted sample is less that the pure one (Bi-YIG).
