Abstract:
The effect of the frequency variation of laserpulse in uniform magnetized plasma is considered in onedimensionallaser wakefield acceleration and carried outparticle simulation. It is shown that wakefield amplitude isincreased threefold for the negative Gaussian chirped laserpulse in the magnetized plasma. In our simulation, electronswith initial energy about 0.3 MeV with initial energyspread about 10 % were trapped, effectively compressed inlongitudinal direction and accelerated to ultra-relativisticenergy about 1.3 GeV with final energy spread about 6 %.
