Abstract:

In Iran, banks are considered as the main focus of economic activities and play an important role in helping to the country s economic growth. Clearly, the success of financial institutions such as banks and consequently, the growth of the country s economy will depend on how the performance of the human resources that excellent performance in each section will result in the performance of the entire organizational setup, so this performance should be evaluated in an appropriate manner. Choosing the appropriate methodology will have a direct impact on its outcomes. The purpose of this study is to compare the results of 360 degree performance evaluation and balanced scorecard in evaluating the performance of employees in the branches of the Tejarat bank. The statistical population of this research is the employees of the Tejarat Bank in Qazvin province who are employed in the branch and their total number was considered in 2017according to the report of the employees’ affairs of the province. 90 samples were selected using the Morgan table. The results of the comparison between the two methods of evaluation using independent t-test showed that there is a significant difference between the performance evaluation results of 360 degrees and the score of the Balanced Scorecard in assessing the performance of the Bank s employees.
