Abstract:

Introduction: Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is one of the most common endocrine disrupters, with an outbreak of 4-25%, depending on its definition. This syndrome is associated with various clinical outcomes including reproductive, metabolic, psychological, and some cancers. Infertility is one of the most important complications of women of reproductive age. The purpose of this study was to explain the experiences of women with polycystic ovary syndrome about infertility.Materials and Methods: The current research is a qualitative study using content analysis method that uses semi-structured, in-depth, individual interviews to examine the experiences of 20 women with polycystic ovarian syndrome aged 18-39 in fear He examined infertility in the future. The interviews continued to saturate the data and all the interviews were recorded and transcribed. Data were collected using content analysis using inductive and deductive methods. The extracted topics include early pregnancy due to complications of the disease, attention to the need for referral to the infertility center in the event of unrecognized pregnancy in women, early onset of childbearing in women susceptible to infertility, fear of future complications, and becoming a chronic illness was.Results: According to the findings of this study, patients with polycystic ovarian syndrome need to receive support, training and special management by health care staff in order to reduce their fear of future infertility so as to improve management by proper and proper management of the disease. Become ill.Conclusion: It is advisable to evaluate these women in a systematic and special way to meet their needs and expectations and manage their illness.
