Abstract:

A compressor is a machine that is used to increase the gases pressure and their transmission, and is classified mainly in two groups of positive displacement compressors and centrifugal compressors. One of the components of the compressor is the shaft. Our goal is to analyze the effect of the rotation on the cylindrical shell shaft. To analyze the stresses caused by the rotation on this type of shaft, the model of the cylindrical shell analysis model under rotation has been used. In this model, the shaft is considered as a cylindrical axial symmetry to change the linear position on the surface in the thickness of the shell and to simplify the equations. Considering the effect of stress on equilibrium equations and structural rules of the cylinder and strain relations, a more complete result is obtained. The main variable here is the era. It is possible to calculate the existing stresses and stresses displacements according to the rotation entered into the compressor shaft. finally, the graphs obtained from the stress and displacement the results are observed.
