Abstract:

Background and Aim : Anabolic androgenic steroids (AAS) are synthetic substances similar to the chemical structure of male sex hormones (androgens) .Unfortunately, these drugs have many adverse effects And the use of these drugs in sport to succeed and sometimes physical healing has become a problematic matter. This study is a review of studies on the effect of androgenic anabolic steroids on male infertility .Methods : In this study, a review of studies on the impact of drugs on male fertility anabolic-androgenic steroids by searching databases SCOPUS, PUBMED, PROQUEST, SCIENCE DIRECT, ISC, IRANDOC, MAGIRAN, in terms of energy medicine men -Barvry -Asprmatvzhnz in men - anabolic steroids without limitation Ndrvzhny- AAS- years.Results : Based on the results of various studies AAS undesirable side effects on different body systems, including long-term negative effect on male fertility have men and spermatogenesis Materials fertility drugs and drugs may have direct effects on germ cells through four primary mechanisms, Change axis (HPG), the effects on erectile function or ejaculation, and its effects on sexual libido affects. Although most of these side effects appear to be reversible after cessation, a long-term increase in consumption of particular concern during childbearing years or during critical developmental stages testicles, which can hypothalamic, pituitary and testicular under impact analyzes abnormal semen parameters and sperm function savings for the long term that adequately respond to other alternative treatments do not have timeConclusion : That although the prevalence of use of these substances is especially high in male teenagers, it is necessary to protect the men from the potential risks of fertility, and yet with awareness and cultural and educational programs in the field For teenagers and those involved with their children s problems and the familiar unwanted side effects of these medications
