Abstract:

Among conductive polymers [1], polyaniline has attracted the attention because of its low cost, the range of use, easy ways and high yield of polymerization. Its electricity, chemical electricity and lighting features, along with its high stability, has made polyaniline as an attractive substance for use in electricity industries such as antielectricity covers. However, polyaniline has some weaknesses that make the use of it difficult such as processing limitations and low mechanical features. Some ways have been found for solving these problems. Among used methods for increasing processing and mechanical features, mixing polyaniline with nonconductive processable polymers that show a good amount of miscibility and producing conductive composites have attracted much attention. The aim of this study is to produce conductive composites based on polyaniline in order to make anti corrosive covers. In order to achieve this aim, polyaniline in nano scale was synthesized under of ultrasonic irradiation. Produced polyaniline in nano scale increases its conductive feature to a great extent. Then, the obtained nano polymer was dopped with functional polymer. The second polymer has been designed in such a way that can have mutual contact with metal surface. In this way, the obtained nano composite, single or mixed with other appropriate substances, is able to create an anti corrosive cover for metals. The other method used in this study is producing conductive nano composite with tamplate polymerization of aniline under ultra sonic irradiation. With this method, polyaniline in nano scale in matrix of aimed polymer was produced with good homogeneity. The produced polymers with two methods were compared with each other.
