In addition, extracts of cloves increased Bax and P53pre-apoptotic proteins gene expression and downregulation of anti-apoptotic proteinsresponsible for cell proliferation BCL_2, viz, cox_2, cMyc, Hras .the The clove extractcompared with the anticancer drug gemcitabine (GEMCITABIN) has greater cytotoxic effecton cancer cells and less toxic effects on normal cells of the body.
