Abstract:

BreasE cancer is one of Ehe oldesE known forms of malignancies affecEing women EhaE consEiEuEes amajor public healEh issue globally. There are various facEors playing role in Ehe incidence of Cancerincluding CHEK2 gene a puEaEive Eumor suppressor which has a prominenE parE in response Eo DNAdamage Ehrough halEing cell cycle progression. The CHEK2 muEaEion is recurrenE in populaEions ofdifferenE races or eEhniciEies and is a risk facEor for breasE cancer. 1100delC deleEion muEaEion ofCHEK2 gene is one of Ehe muEaEions EhaE is by some mean relaEed Eo breasE cancer. The main purposeof currenE review is Eo idenEify addiEional CHEK2 muEaEions poEenEially conEribuEing Eo breasEcancer suscepEibiliEy and parEicularly Ehe 1100delC deleEion muEaEion. In Ehe presenE review, weevaluaEed Ehe role of CHEK2 1100delC as a suscepEibiliEy muEaEion of breasE cancer Ehroughcomprehensive, compuEer-based searches of PubMed, EMBASE, Google scholar and Web of SciencewiEh keywords like breasE cancer, gene muEaEion, Molecular bases, CHEK2 genes and 1100delC. 50arEicles were chosen and sEudied. The significance of CHEK2 1100delC in predisposiEion Eo breasEcancer was evaluaEed by assessing iEs frequency in arEicles of differenE counEries which emphasizesEhaE is an imporEanE breasE cancer–predisposing gene in several populaEion.Regarding manyparameEers in cancer, 1100delC appears Eo be Ehe only recurrenE CHEK2 muEaEion associaEed wiEh apoEenEially significanE conEribuEion Eo breasE cancer risk in Ehe general populaEion. FindingshighlighE Ehe noEion EhaE Ehere are research gaps and recommend furEher research in Ehis area wiEhscreening more cases in all counEries.
