Correlation between human herpes virus 8 (hhv8) and plasma cell myeloma: systematic review

Plasma cell myeloma is a distortion of differentiated B lymphocytes that is associated with uncontrolled proliferation of plasma cells in bone marrow and with abnormal production increased in serum andurine Para protein.Infections dramatically leading cause of death in myeloma patients Some studies exhibited role in the spread of viruses stated plasma cell myeloma. There is much controversy aboutthe relationship between HHV-8 virus and the disease is plasma cell myeloma. In this article, we review the literature and studies about the relationship between the HHV8 virus and the disease plasma cellmyeloma play. In this systematic review, scientific databanks including PubMed, Scopus, Embase, ISI, and google scholar were searched. The search was based on the subsequent keywords or medical topic terms in a title in different combinations the keywords were planned to correct MeSH terms.Four article declared that there is no link between the HHV_8 and the pathogenesis of plasma cell myelomathis despite the fact that five article stated there is a connection between the virus and myeloma and partly caused to the progression of the disease. It seems the need for further investigation in largergroups of Monoclonal disorders patients and Using more advanced diagnostic methods in order to get a definitive answer to the question whether or not the HHV-8 associated with plasma cell myelomadisease.
