Forehead burn reconstruction

Forehead esthetic unit reconstruction by in situ expanded flaps (20 years experience). reconstruction is a demanding part of injured face. In past 20 years 41 patients underwent forehead skin reconstruction with limited uninjured skin expanded flaps. Final results for success reliability coverage scar lines brows position was excellent. In 9 cases double flaps for forehead and nasal skin transferred spontaneously. In conclusion these flaps highly recommend for selected patients.
