Abstract:

Definition of burn:Burn is a type of skin injury or mucous membrane that is caused by excessive heat, excessive heat, chemicals and electrical current. Pre-hospital care1) Remove the injured person from the source of burns.2) Spill on water and remove clothing that does not stick to the body.3) In the case of chemical burn, carefully clean the clothes and rinse the area with plenty of water.4) If the burn is due to electricity and the person is still in contact with the source of electricity, do not touch him or her and disconnect the electrical current with a dry and non conductive device (by means of a rope or wood) 5) Treat injuries that require immediate attention.6) Open the airway and check for inhalation injuries and give oxygen to the patient if possible.7) Remove jewelry or clothes from the patient s body.8) Cover the burn with a sterile or clean damp.9) Cover the injured person with a warm and dry coating to prevent heat loss.10) Transfer the injured person to the nearest medical and therapeutic unit. Early burn treatment in the emergency department1. Establish an airway.2. Start with fluid therapy with intravenous catheter.3. To measure urine for a patient, place a urine catheter.4. Put the stomach tube to empty the contents of the stomach and prevent bloating5. Place CVP if possible.6. Reduce pain with low dose doses of continuous intravenous narcotic drugs.7. Take preventive tetanus.
