The effects of dr. Kamkar cream on healing and eliminating infection the second degree burn injury and wounds.

Background and Aim : Burning is one of the health problems in human societies that are related to irreparable harms and many side problems for patients and their families. Infection due to burn wounds is the vital matter of death in such patients. Dr. Kamkar cream is a herbal medicine complex for treatment of chronic wounds such as burned one. This cream includes a mixture of natural product complexes from more than twenty different components and has antimicrobial effects on common bacterial pathogens in infected wounds, like Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Acinetobacter baumanii,etc. The present study aimed to assess the efficiency and adverse effects of this cream on healing and eliminating infection the second degree burn injury. Methods : Study population included 40 burn patients referred to shahid Motahari burned hospital at Tehran, Iran.Results : The burned ulcers were completely healed in all patients after 4-7days of treatment with this cream and No major side effects were found. Conclusion : We showed that this cream is effective for developing wound healing in patients with burning and no need to take antibiotics.
