Abstract:

Background and Aim : Skin repair continues to be a challenge in modern medicine. One of the most common forms of trauma is burn wounds, which, given their specific characteristics, the use of appropriate treatment can play an important role in their healing process. Methods : We searched the PubMed database and Google scholar engine (2010-2019) using the Burns , Nanoparticles and Therapeutics as keywords. Results : Studies show that using modern methods such as the use of cultured patient-derived cells, the use of collagen, the administration of mesenchymal stem cells, the use of amniotic fluid or membranes, etc. can be an appropriate approach to more effectively treat burns. Also, the use of inorganic nanoparticles such as iron oxide, titanium oxide, gold and silver due to their unique properties can enhance the migration and production of cytokines in mesenchymal stem cells, reduce inflammation, accelerate epithelial healing and recovery, reduce residual effects and scarring and Reduce microbial infection. Conclusion : Due to the safety of inorganic nanoparticles and their impact on the healing process and healing of burn wounds, it can improve treatment efficacy and improve the healing of burn wounds by application in combination with modern treatments.
