Abstract:
A simple, efficient, and general method has been developed for the one-pot synthesis of b-acetamido ketones from condensation reaction aldehydes, acetophenones and acetyl chloride in acetonitrile in the presence of boric acid under solvent-free conditions at room temperature. Thus -acetamido ketones were synthesized relatively quickly in good yields at room temperature.
