Abstract:
Knowledge is one of the vital driving forces of business success and today knowledge in organizations is one of the most essential factors of success. According to the importance of knowledge, organizations try to invest on it by spending time, energy and financial resources to achieve maximum use of existing knowledge. In knowledge management category, knowledge sharing is one of the main and necessary processes and occurs when people desire to help others and learn from them to increase skills, abilities and improve their performances. The effective use of organizational knowledge sharing between employees and organizations to achieve a strategic resource for organizations to maintain competitive advantage. To achieve this advantage, organizations are looking for models and strategies that enable them to improve knowledge sharing and to assist in achieving a better position. This study first provides a detailed review of knowledge sharing and effective factors of it, then discusses obstacles and solutions of knowledge sharing strategies with an emphasis on educational institutions
