This paper presents the research to find a computational method for the creation of freeform structures produced with simple linear folded stripes. Two approaches are presented. A geometric algorithm enables a structuralisation of surfaces from single curved to double curved. The algorithm produces a series of stripes that form an irregular hexagonal honeycomb structure on a given surface. The stripes get no torsion in the folded form, and are rectangular in unrolled conditions.
