Anticancer activities of cell surface targeting peptides

Antitumor monoclonal antibodies have shown clinical promise as cancer cell surfacetargeting agents. The aims of this study was to evaluate the conformational study of thesome cell surface targeting peptide which can be used in multiple myeloma treatment. Theconformational structure of the 6-mer peptide of YIHYIF in different forms has beeninvestigated by the PCILO method. The computational results revealed that the peptidewhich blocked it’s C-terminal and with free N-terminal has better functionality group forbind to M- protein. Thus conformational studies shown that H3N+-YIHYIF-NHMe can beused as cancer cell surface targeting peptide in multiple myeloma.
