Abstract:

In this work according to the Mie theory, we have investigated surface Plasmon in various states such as, distribution in metal surface and localized surface Plasmon in alloying Au-Ag bimetallic Nano spheres. The surface Plasmon and optical properties of metallic Nano shells have been described by Mie theory too. Due to the individual optical properties from two noble metals, gold and silver, such as a visible absorption and an extreme peak of absorption in UV-Vis spectrum, we have studied absorption cross-section from alloying Ag_x Au_(1-x) Nano spheres and its effective elements for alloy compounds with different percentages and environments having various refractive index
