Abstract:
The bubble point pressure is the highest pressure on which the first bubble of gas evolves from oil. This important property determines by flash test in laboratory which has a main role in EOS tuning, fluid property determination, EOR process and production design.
Today, this pressure is determined by the P vs. V curve in laboratory. This method has many shortcomings such as depending on human precision and straight line which represent the constant compressibility, fitted through a data where as the compressibility isn't constant. With regard to being high volatile oil, the limitation of this method is more sophisticated, so that the linear regression method is inapplicable. Modifying method is proposed to reduce the mentioned problems, using curve rotation and advanced regression such as polynomial. Finally it has severally examined by many laboratory data in R&D affairs. It is highly accurate and applicable.
