Abstract:

One of the important steps in the design of high speed boats is the calculation of the forces involved in the wedge sectional shape of the body by wave and the proper response of the structure. Fast boats due to high speeds and quick movements in the sea for carrying out missions, it is necessary to analyze the effective parameters entering the body itself, which is one of the common phenomena of Slamming. If you do not pay attention to it, the body will suffer from fatigue and failure and there will be irreparable damage to it. In this paper, a cross sectional view of the wedge shaped cross section was optimized for numerical analysis and compared with experimental results, which resulted in good matching. Initially, a wedge shaped cross section was introduced, and then the geometry and physics of the object in surrounding environment and the equations were described. Finally, using the powerful CD-Adapco1 software for numerical modeling of how to drop the wedge into the interior water was simulated in two phase conditions and its reports were compared with the results.
