Abstract:

The exact diagnosis of the tumour area in the images of MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGES (MRI) and COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY SCAN (CT SCAN) has a various application in the radiation therapy techniques including diagnosis of the disease, study of treatment progress and disease or the design of therapeutic strategies. Extensive research was performed for entering computer progressing in medicine and especially in processing medical images such as CT and MRI With science improvement. We will use the co-occurrence matrix for Tissue diagnosis and image feature extraction in this research. Also, we have used of Statistical and contrast tissue features, correlation, energy and homogeneity. The results show that image feature extraction method of co-occurrence matrix GLCM performs better than other methods and use of these features in MLP classification algorithms will cause accuracy improvement compared to other methods
